Kadota has won 2 Glasses (Excellent) in Australia’s Wine List of the Year Awards 2026, praised for its Japanese wines, sake and central Victorian producers.

Regional Victoria dominated the Victorian restaurant awards in 2026. Of Victoria’s 19 restaurant and major-award wins, 12 went to venues outside Melbourne, spanning Daylesford, Bendigo, Mildura, Rutherglen, Geelong and the Bellarine. The biggest result came from Daylesford, where Kadota took Restaurant of the Year as well as Premium Dining.
